In the beginning… there was craft.  As humble artists, Kae, Michelle and I sought to pursue the art of origami and thus our quest was born!  Exploring the process through an auto-ethnographic approach, we used our personal experience with craft as a basis to understand this Japanese tradition, documenting it through YouTube and Instagram, inviting others to engage with this experience by folding cranes of their own and utilising the hashtag #10kpapercranes, resulting in a narrative of our collective auto-ethnographic experience.
